"My wife and I were looking to buy a property in the Los Gatos / Cambrian / Campbell area and had been in the market for about 6 months. We came across a property we liked and it was listed by Jason. We talked to him about representing us (buyers) along with the sellers, and it was not an issue for his company or him. From the outset, we were comfortable working with Jason, even though he was representing both sides. He was candid enough to give us the insights into the specific property and also guide us on the neighborhood and the city. Even before the offer due date, Jason asked us to brace ourselves for a bidding war, and recommended strategies for us to employ to make our offer more attractive. "When I became the Trustee of my sister’s estate, I had a long list of important subjects to attend to. Each with their own deadlines, forms to fill out, showing proof to all that I was the Trustee, in addition to hiring an attorney and CPA.

The largest single asset of the Trust is my sister’s home in San Jose, CA. I am an engineer and am unfamiliar with the housing market or selling of a property. However, I am very detailed oriented. I did my due diligence by finding real estate agents from searching online, local word of mouth, and Dave Ramsey’s radio show.

After much research, I selected four real estate agents to interview onsite. It was a grueling full 8 hour day, but well worth the effort, especially since I live out of town.

I found it easy to discard two of the interviewees, one of which was unorganized and the other wanted to spend a load of money to remodel and stage the property in hopes to obtain the highest price.

My two finalists included Jason (who I found through Dave Ramsey’s website) and a local agent who reported almost as many sales per month as Jason, had a similar selling strategy, but just did not have the detailed extensive hands-on experience and knowledge to make me comfortable. Since I live out-of-town, it is extremely important for me to have an agent that I believe is watching out for my best interest.

Once I chose Jason to work with and we got started moving forward I knew right away I made a great decision. He has “held my hand” through all the documentation and step-by-step measures making the property sellable, while explaining every step as we move forward. Jason also has a team of local licensed contractors from which he can choose to make the necessary landscaping, repairs, inspections, and the like. The use of licensed contractors is high on my list of needs.

Jason IS that “teacher” that Dave Ramsey talks about, and that’s one of the main reasons I trust and enjoy working with him to finalize the process. I look forward to receiving his professional guidance during the negotiation / selling process.
